Restoring Families.
Renewing Hope.
Creating Second Chances.

Georgia Second Chance Alliance brings hope inside prisons and support outside the walls through Hope Events, discipleship partnerships, chaplain resources, Angel Tree promotion, and family restoration ministries.

Incarceration impacts more than one life.

When a parent, spouse, son, or daughter is incarcerated, the whole family feels the impact. Children struggle, families are stretched, and communities are affected. Many families feel overwhelmed and alone. Men and women inside prison need hope, discipleship, and support to find a new path and return home restored.

A Prison Fellowship Ministry

Help Children Experience Hope Through Angel Tree

Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree ministry helps churches connect with children and families impacted by incarceration. Through Angel Tree, churches can help provide Christmas gifts, encouragement, and ongoing care to children with a parent or guardian in prison.

Georgia Second Chance Alliance is honored to promote Angel Tree and encourage churches to learn how they can become part of this meaningful ministry to children and families in their own communities.

Why This Mission Matters

Behind every number is a life, a child, and a family.

Nearly 95,000 men and women are incarcerated in Georgia. That number represents more than people behind prison walls. It represents children separated from a parent, families carrying emotional and financial burdens, and communities in need of hope and restoration.

Georgia Second Chance Alliance exists to stand in that gap. Through Hope Events, discipleship partnerships, chaplain support, family resources, Angel Tree, and trusted ministry connections, GSCA brings hope inside prisons and support outside the walls.

Our mission is to help individuals and families impacted by incarceration find faith, encouragement, practical support, and a path toward meaningful second chances.

A Personal Calling to Second Chance Ministry

Georgia Second Chance Alliance was founded by Pastor Don Horton to help bring hope, restoration, and practical support to individuals and families impacted by incarceration.

The mission of GSCA is to connect families with helpful resources, support family restoration, and help churches, chaplains, and community partners become part of meaningful second chances.

As a Justice Ambassador with Prison Fellowship, Don helps raise awareness about the need for justice reform and supports efforts that promote a restorative approach to crime, incarceration, and second chances.
